Ordering & delivery

How long does UK delivery take?

Standard (£3.99, free over £50) is Royal Mail Tracked 48 — 2–3 working days. Express (£5.99) is Tracked 24, next working day if you order before 3pm Monday–Friday.

Is the packaging actually discreet?

Yes. Plain outer box, neutral sender name, no product description on the label. The card statement reads as a generic retailer — the word “sex” appears nowhere.

When does my order ship?

Orders placed before 3pm on a working day dispatch the same day. After 3pm goes out the next working day. Weekend orders ship Monday.

Can I order as a guest, without an account?

Yes. Guest checkout is available — you only need an email address for order confirmation and tracking. Creating an account is optional; the only thing it gets you is faster re-order and a wishlist.

I placed my order but haven’t had a confirmation email.

Check your spam/junk folder first — some providers mis-flag order confirmations. If it’s definitely not there within 30 minutes, email help@sextech.co.uk with the name on the order and we’ll resend it.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Not at the moment. We ship to UK mainland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands. International is on the roadmap.

Returns & refunds

Can I return a sex toy I’ve opened?

For hygiene reasons, no — opened toys can’t be resold, and you’d want that policy if you were the next customer. Unopened, sealed items can be returned within 14 days.

What if my toy arrives faulty?

Different rules — that’s on us. Email help@sextech.co.uk within 30 days with your order number and a description (or photo/video) of the fault. We’ll send a replacement or refund in full.

How long do refunds take?

Once we receive the return and confirm it’s unopened, refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 working days. Your bank may add another 1–3 days to actually show the money.

Who pays return postage?

If you’re returning because you changed your mind, you pay. If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing, we pay — we’ll email you a pre-paid Royal Mail label.

Products & compatibility

Are your toys body-safe?

Yes. We only stock medical-grade silicone, borosilicate glass, stainless steel, ABS plastic, and body-safe elastomers. No jelly, no PVC, no phthalates. The material is listed on every product page.

What’s the difference between silicone and TPE?

Silicone is non-porous, latex-free, body-safe, easy to disinfect, and lasts for years. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is softer and cheaper but porous — bacteria can live in the material, and it can’t be fully disinfected. We carry both; for anything internal we’d recommend silicone.

Can I use any lube with any toy?

No — silicone lube degrades silicone toys over time. With silicone toys, stick to water-based lube. With glass, steel, or ABS, anything goes. Never use oil-based lube with latex condoms.

How do I clean my toy?

Warm water and mild unfragranced soap covers 95% of toys. For non-motorised silicone, glass, and steel, you can also boil for 3 minutes or pop in the top rack of a dishwasher. Never submerge anything with a motor unless the product page explicitly says it’s waterproof.

Do your toys come with batteries?

Most are rechargeable via USB-C or magnetic dock — cable included. A handful still take AA/AAA batteries, which we supply. The product page lists which.

Privacy & discretion

How does the billing appear on my card statement?

As a neutral parent-company name — no mention of “sex” or “SEXTECH”. If you’d like to know exactly what it reads before ordering, email us and we’ll tell you.

Do you share my data or sell my email?

Never. We use your details to fulfil the order and answer your questions, and that’s it. No sharing, no selling, no retargeting ad networks. See our privacy policy for specifics.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes — you must be 18 or over to order. The site asks you to confirm your age on first visit, and we reserve the right to refuse any order if there’s reason to believe the buyer is under 18.
