How to Choose the Best Fleshlight for You (and How to Look After It Properly)

Best Fleshlight

Fleshlights are crazily popular – and have been for many years, but some people still need a little introduction to one of the world’s best known male masturbator brands. So we’ve put together this handy guide to help you choose the best Fleshlight (or FleshJack), to tell you how to wash and store it, and to show you which ones are compatible with the totally hands-free Fleshlight Launch masturbation experience.

Now dive in, and get in touch if you have any questions.

Why use a Fleshlight?

Aside from the obvious pleasure benefits, masturbation sleeves have also been reported to help with premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction.

Regular masturbation in men has been proven to help reduce stress, relieve tension, and minimise the risk of prostate cancer, as well as increasing overall arousal and sexual function.

Don’t think you have to use this solo, introducing sex toys in to your relationship can also be a great way to boost intimacy.

How to choose the best Fleshlight for you

Now, this part is totally up to you to decide what kind of experience you want, oh, and what size penis you have. Texture and tightness vary from sleeve to sleeve, so choose wisely depending on your length and girth.

Even more importantly, if you are a visual person, think about what orifice type you want to be penetrating. Are you into anal sex, vaginal sex, blow jobs or perhaps you have a taste for alien? Not your cup of tea? Don’t worry, there are some that are also more neutral-designed. Sleeves come in a range of abstract colours, translucent and various skin tones.

Material is important for the feelers out there. Fleshlight sleeves are designed to feel as real as can be with Real Feel material.

For an interactive, hands free experience, it might be worth investing in the Fleshlight Launch. It does weigh a hefty 2.02 kg and costs over £200, but the sheer strength and power you get from the experience is worth it.

Unless you’re looking to travel with it. Maybe you have mobility issues? Or you’re not looking to spend too much. Most Fleshlights are pretty discreetly designed with a cap that concealed the orifice. The Fleshlight Flight is lighter, smaller and cheaper than the Launch, at 9 inches and weighing 0.52 kg, it only costs £44.

How to use a Fleshlight

The best way to enjoy a Fleshlight is warmed and lubed up. Fleshlight has got you covered with both.

With the sleeve warmer you’ll be as snug as a bug in a rug. When it comes to lube, take note. Oil-based and silicone-based lubricants can damage the material of the sleeve. Stick to water-based lubricants.

If you don’t want to invest in a sleeve warmer, you can play with temperature using the special ice cooling or fire warming lubes by Fleshlight.

Either rub the lube over your penis or pour it into the sleeve, and once you’re in, adjust the tightness around your penis with the customisable suction cap – a tighter fit makes for more suction feeling.

Slide the device up and down over your penis for some slippery fun.

Want to go hands free? The shower mount accessory lets you attach the Fleshlight to the wall where you can thrust to climax with your hands behind your head, or stimulating your other erogenous zones.

Even better, the Kiiroo powered Launch strokes and vibrates for you and even connects to interactive porn and live performers via FeelMe.com. Just choose your settings, sit back, relax and enjoy the sensations.

Watch porn or video sex with your partner with no hassle using the phone mount accessory that easily attaches to your leg!

If you want to get creative with sex positions using your Fleshlight, here’s a few ideas for you:

How to wash a Fleshlight properly

PSA: clean your Fleshlight properly to avoid your sleeve harbouring bacteria and mould. This is essential before and after every use.

First pull the sleeve out of the container and rinse inside and out with warm water. Contrary to popular belief, make sure it is not too hot and do NOT use soap as these can degrade the material.

Warm soapy water can however be used for the container.

Ideally you will use a specially designed cleaning product, such as the Fleshlight wash, to spray and rinse off. Otherwise, a diluted solution of Isopropyl Alcohol can be used. Let your sleeve dry out properly in a well-ventilated area.

Over time, the sleeve may start to lose some of its original softness as it naturally wears. Once dry, sprinkle it with Fleshlight Renewing powder or cornstarch to restore it with a silky finish.

How to store a Fleshlight?

Use the cap to keep your sleeve free from exposure to dirt and dust. Keep away from the radiator and other sex toys as this may damage the material.

When to get rid of your Fleshlight sleeve?

If you notice any signs of deterioration, black spots, mould or a musty smell that isn’t removed with thorough cleaning, it might be time to say goodbye to your sleeve.

This is a sign of bacteria and mould, and that your product could be beyond its best. You shouldn’t be using a Fleshlight in this condition, for your own potential health implications.

Which Fleshlights fit the Fleshlight Launch?

If you’re investing in a Fleshlight Launch, you’ll want to pick up a Fleshlight as soon as possible, so you can start using it!

However, not ALL Fleshlights fit the Fleshlight Launch. Generally speaking, Fleshlight Girls and FleshJack Boys ‘porn star edition’ models and the regular (and Stamina Training Unit) fit the Launch, but the ‘special edition’ ones – the GO, Quickshot, Turbo, Ice and Flight versions do not.
